American Idol and Friesens are working together to produce American Idol's first ever yearbook, a celebration of American Idol Season 9, which airs January 2010.
Exclusive School Fundraiser
The American Idol Yearbook is an exclusive fundraising opportunity where schools promoting American Idol yearbooks will receive $5 for every yearbook sold, donated to the school's yearbook program. The Idol yearbook will retail for $19.95 (plus applicable taxes and shipping).
How the program works:
- Yearbook advisers/Principals: complete a sign-up form on www.americanidolyearbook.com
- Once signed up, your school will receive a marketing plan and promotional posters.
- In January 2010, schools will start promoting the Idol yearbook and continue promoting through the end of Season 9 in May 2010.
- Promotional efforts can include: school posters, letters and emails to parents, promo flyers, school P.A. announcements, and web site promo buttons.
- Consumers will be able to purchase the yearbook on www.americanidolyearbook.com, starting
January 2010 for $19.95 (plus applicable taxes and shipping).
- During the online ordering process, consumers can direct donations to the school of their choice.
- The school yearbook program will then receive $5 for every yearbook sold.
- Checks will be sent to participating schools in fall 2010.
About the Yearbook
The yearbook will be a full-color celebration of American Idol Season 9. This hard-cover book will feature unforgettable moments from auditions to the grand finale featuring a close-up look at the top 10 contestants.
Of course, no Idol Yearbook would be complete without an exclusive look into the lives of the judges and host.
This is produced with the quality and care for which Friesens is renowned.
Yearbooks go on sale in March 2010 and can be purchased exclusively on www.AmericanIdolYearbook.com
The American Idol season ends in late May 2010. Allow an additional 8-12 weeks
for the Idol yearbook to be produced and shipped.
All sales are final. There are no exchanges or refunds.
